This is just a quick news blurb to let everybody know that life in the Bricksverse is good. Both Automatic CSS and Advanced Themer have big things in store this week.

Automatic CSS

Kevin Geary is slated to present a live first look at Automatic CSS version 3 on April 10, 2024, at 11 AM ET. The version will include major updates and enhanced workflows. Kevin has repeatedly stated that new features are not on the slate for this release, but from what I have heard, the enhancements will make those on the fence jump onto the ACSS bandwagon and bring immense joy to those of us who already are.

Advanced Themer

Maxime Beguin, the creator of Advanced Themer, has announced some pricing changes. This is the one-year anniversary of the product’s release (hard to believe) and some increase in the price is overdue. As part of the celebration, Maxime is reintroducing the Lifetime Deal (LTD) for a short time on April 12. This LTD will be $369, but if you have more than a couple of sites that use Bricks, this is a steal for the enhancements you get. As much as I like ACSS, if I had to choose a single plugin to enhance Brick, Advanced Themer is it.

GutenBricks

The GutenBrick plugin is still in release candidate status but continues to get excellent updates ahead of the official 1.0 release. This is a really useful plugin for those of us wanting to use or wanting our customers to use the core editor (aka Gutenberg)

Bricks 2.0

With all the other announcements, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some news around Bricks version 2, but only time will tell.
